Tricel Novo Review: Installation

Tricel offer three different manhole riser heights to suitdifferent invert/inlet levels. This helps with installation where site conditions require a flexible solution. We would always recommend that tanks are backfilled with concrete, however, Tricel boast that on most sites, concrete backfill is not necessary with the Tricel Novo, which could save you over £300 on installation costs.

Tricel Novo Review: Design

The Tricel Novo design is less intrusive than a Klargester BioDisc or BioTec as the access cover is smaller. The air compressor and control panel is located under a green cover on top of the unit which makes the system is very safe with a low impact on its surroundings. The shape of the tank is preferred by some engineers as it is easier to transport and fits into narrow spaces.

The Tricel Novo is made from one of the strongest materials on the market - a Sheet Moulding Compound (SMC) which has a structural warranty of 20 years.

Internal parts of the system are covered by a 3 year warranty, this includes the air blower.

On average this is a longer warranty period than other manufacturers.

Tricel Sewage Treatment Plants are fully certified to BS EN12566-3. This means it meets European and British Standards for treating waste safely.

Tricel Novo Review: Known Problems

The Tricel Novo has been supplied with Resun Air Compressors in the past which are not widely used in the UK. Therefor it can be difficult to source spare parts for them if they get a fault. However, Tricel can offer alternative air compressors.
